Mercedes E-Guard: Your Best Kind Of Guard

When you need extra protection, then the new Mercedes Benz E-Guard models would be your guard. These vehicles are immediately available for any person who is interested. In fact, Mercedes Benz has announced that these vehicles would be the best kind of vehicles for people whose lives are jeopardized like drug lords, political diplomats, citizens of countries under war, or the pope.

What makes this Mercedes Benz E-Guard vehicle unique is the steel and aramid reinforced parts of the vehicle like its doors, sides, roof, firewall, and rear wall. Of course, the added weight could be quite a burden for the whole vehicle but the company has certainly thought this out. The whole vehicle is quite strong so as to carry all the weight that the Mercedes Benz E-Guard has. For more protection, this E-Guard model has a B4 protection rating. It can even actually withstand and survive bullets fired from a .44 Magnum gun.

It would not be quite surprising if these vehicles also need special auto parts made by the auto manufacturer itself. However, owners could still spruce up their E-Guard vehicles to make it unique from the rest. Sure enough, Mercedes Benz aftermarket accessories are available in the market from various  auto accessories stores and would surely make these vehicles look not good but even better.

There are three variations for the Mercedes Benz E-Guard models. The list comprise of the E 320 CDI, the E 350, and the E 500. All hold features made especially for safety that could be found with the standard Mercedes Benz E-Class cars. Pre-Safe, direct control, and adaptive brake systems and features are available in these E-Guard models.

The Mercedes Benz E-Guard E320 CDI model has actually made quite a name for itself and for its manufacturer already. This is because this model is the first diesel model in the world to actually have and offer high protection ex factory.

Car Wax and Car Paint Sealant. When to use them

A car enthusiast will find few things more pleasurable than standing back and admiring the results of a few hours labour on a Sunday afternoon after having washed and waxed his car.

If you are interested in maintaining that showroom look you need more than elbow grease. You will also need quality products, especially when it comes to getting a nice shine onto your car using wax or paint sealant. Both will give you a lasting shine and both need to be applied regularly, so what’s the difference?

Ok, first off, wax and car paint sealant achieve the same desired effect. They are both paint protectors. They are designed to be applied after you have polished your car’s paintwork. The tiny abrasions and scratches in your paintwork is reduced or removed with polish. As it is designed to restore your paintwork to its original colour and shine, polish is slightly abrasive which also means that it will remove any wax that was previously applied leaving your paintwork unprotected. This is where wax and paint sealant comes in. It is applied after the polish has done its work in order to protect it.

I hope you have picked up on the fact that because the two types of product do the same thing then you don’t need to use both at the same time. Some people think that they need to apply paint sealant before they apply wax. This is not the case. You can do if you so choose but you don’t really gain anything. So, you have a personal choice to make. Paint seala More…

How to Choose Car Paint Colors

I have noticed that the first thing that a person notices is the color of the car am driving. People do not even notice the registration on the car. That’s why i have become so selective in choosing the cars that i drive. Selecting car paint colors for a full overhaul of your car is not easy though. These days, there are thousands of shades and variations of blue, Green, white, yellow and so on. You need to have a color code to define the exact color that you need.

I got these kind of challenge sometime back, i was forced to visit my local car dealer shop. I looked at the cars they had on display. Once i had identified the car paint colors i liked, i asked them to give me the numeric color code of that car, which they did willingly. They had to go to their computers to be able to identify that particular color code. I would not want you to go through the same process if you really do not want to.

You will realize that there are six basic car paint colors in the United States i.e. beige, blue, silver, Black, Grey and red. Variations of these shades should easily be found. Some of the car colors that have found demand in the States are Classic Black, White and Silver, orange power, blues and greens that give a sporty look, brown on the inside among many other shades. Blue is considered as classy as black while orange is the color of fashion.

Beside choosing a particular color for your car, you will need to either do the paint More…
